Allison & Tom were married on Sept 26 at A Villa Louisa. The morning was brisk and the colors on the trees were just starting to change. Allison & Tom had some really neat personal touches added to their wedding day. Take a peek...
Tom showered and dressed, while Allison spent the morning getting pampered.
Love the fire truck on her garter!
Allison & the boys
Tom looks relaxed here but was a little nervous.
Gorgeous Flowers
The vows
Lighting the Unity Candle
One of my favorite parts of the ceremony, when the couple face the congregation for the first time.
Role reversal
I love their couple shots!!

The first dance is always a blur.
Their fire dept photo was their guest book. What a great photo of them!
To the surprise of everyone, they cut their cake with an ax!
Best wishes to Allison & Tom! Thanks for including me in your day!

The Wedding of Lynn & Mark
Lynn & Mark were married on Sept 25 at one of my favorite spots, the New Haven Lawn Club. To me, there are a number of things that make a wedding great and this wedding had so many personal touches: limes in the bride's bouquet, mulberry shoes for the bride, a custom-designed monogram for the wedding, Yankee & Red Sox garters on a night when the teams were playing each other for a playoff berth, a wagon carrying the ring bearer, a red velvet wedding cake made by Aunt Lauri, the chicken dance and Ollie's photo hanging from the bouquet.
I'd like to think that I work with couples whose wedding I would also want to attend as a guest, and you can bet if I hadn't been there, I would have wanted to.
Here are just a few of my faves--this time with commentary!
My favorite wedding shoes to date
So pretty!!!
Check out this bracelet
Waiting for the first peek at her hubby-to-be
The real first kiss! They did most of their romantic photos BEFORE the ceremony. So happy we had so much time.
How in love are they?!
The boys
I do!
I love any chance to shoot at Yale. Love the bride and groom with the old buildings.
I think this is my 4th identical twin bride in the last year!
Thanks, Aunt Lauri!
After Hours Entertainment threw quite a party
Bride & groom sharing a quiet moment where they were married just hours before. The bride painted the aisle runner. Love the logo.
Checkin' out the rock
Can't wait for you to see the rest!

The Wedding of Alison & Miguel
Alison & Miguel were married on another beautiful, sunny September day. This wasn't just a wedding, this was a party. Days like this don't seem like work to me.
My favorite things about the day:
*The Veil. The bride wore this amazing cathedral length, embellished veil and the photos don't do it justice. It was a piece of art.
*Watching the groom sing to his bride during the first dance.
*Our sunset photo shoot.
Here are a few of my favorite pics from the day...
